Monthly Wrap-Up: January 2019

Books:

  3. Tower of Dawn (Throne of Glass #6) by Sarah J. Maas
  4. Kingdom of Ash (Throne of Glass #7) by Sarah J. Maas

I’m so glad I finally read this series! It was super intense and epic and stressful AF but definitely worth it. And now I can participate in conversations about them and give my opinions on them and on ToG vs. ACOTAR. Which, I actually think if I had to choose I’d say I liked ACOTAR a bit more but honestly they’re both really different so I don’t think it’s fair to compare them.

Other Media:

Season 2 of Future Man! I think I liked season 1 better but it was still so good and I laughed SO hard at the final episode especially. What a gem this show is.

February TBR:

I’ve already read the first two books in The Dark Artifices series and I’ve started book three, and despite reading several recaps of books 1-2 to prepare, I still just feel more disconnected to it all than I want to so I decided rereading before officially diving back into book 3 will make sure I have the best experience with the finale.

  1. I hope rereading Lady Midnight and Lord of Shadows helps you get into Qoaad! I reread them both right before starting and I’m not sure I would have been able to keep up if I hadn’t.
