um, probably the whole Dark Artifices series

Favorite sequel of the first half of the year?

um either my reread of Lord of Shadows or reread of One Foot in the Grave, probably the latter because it didn’t make me cry all the tears

Moonlight Scandals and Kill Switch and The Risk and Shatter Me 4.5 & 5

The Burning Shadow (Origin #2)

The Winner’s Curse series, DNFed that reallll hard despite our hilarious buddy read

Biggest surprise so far?

Raven Boys!! like what! everyone needs to read this.
I was also surprised in a less positive feels kind way by Pestilence because just wut..

Favorite fictional crush from this year?

I mean probably Julian but idk if that counts since I didn’t read him for the first time this year; so maybe Locke because of his flowy hair and shirts.

I’m really feeling everyone from the Raven Boys but also Roar

ummm maybe Kingdom of Ash? oh no wait, FOR SURE Lord of Shadows and Queen of Air and Darkness oh my god

um I haven’t really bought myself any physical books this year, maybe the ACOTAR hardbacks my husband got me for my birthday

six? six…? sIX??? you can’t make me choose! I pick ALL THE BOOKS !!!! but for real if you wanna see my extensive TBR that has barely budged it’s on my mid-year wrap-up post here. After reading Siobhan’s post I feel like I have got to start knocking out some Jay Kristoff stuff OR ELSE I’m dead to me.
